Daniel Lazarine graduated from the University of Houston with Bachelors of Science in Political Science and Philosophy in 2005. He then attended the University of Houston Law Center and received his Juris Doctor in 2010.
Daniel interned in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office as a law student, working in the Apellate/Post-Conviction Writs Division. He responded to nearly 100 Petitions for Writ of Habeas Corpus and trained in the County Criminal Courts at Law and the Judicial District Courts during his time there.
Since then, Daniel has proven himself on both sides of the criminal law bar.
He started his career as the Assistant District Attorney in the Galveston County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. There, he prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor cases, including:
- Assault causing bodily injury
- Drug charges
- Family violence
- And other criminal offenses
